From the start, my intention was to build SukkhaCitta as a platform for positive social change. Perhaps this is why we’ll never be another fashion brand. It gave us the freedom to do things our own way, discarding almost all traditional ways of doing things as a fashion brand.
Instead, we choose to focus on what matters: our village development works, researches on natural dyes, continuous trainings, and quality materials. The extra profits we make are reinvested to build our craft schools to help the future generation of artisans thrive from her craft.

In the process, they’ve changed what success means to me. Instead of chasing endless growth and having more – I find myself much happier by choosing less. Simplifying and focusing on my values have brought clarity that helps me navigate through the clutter and uncertainties of running a social enterprise that puts its purpose higher than profits.
By simplifying, I found a space to pause and connect with who I really am and what I value in life.
It is with these thoughts that we designed our Essentials collection. These timeless pieces are the building blocks that is meant to help you live well with less. Never compromising movement and comfort, they’re made to live and grow with you through life’s meaningful moments.
I hope in them, you'll find a canvas that gives you the freedom to express your values.
Here’s to our shared journey reconnecting with a life that matters.
Always yours,
D
