Draped Ribbon Top in Flora
Inspired by how Javanese women drape a kain, wrapping and knotting the cloth around the body.
The fabric wraps across you and falls lower on one shoulder. A hidden ribbon sits at the waist, right where a kain would be tied. Every flower was drawn by hand in wax by batik artisans in East Java.
The pink comes from sappan wood, a natural dye. The silk and Tencel blend feels soft, cool and light.
Tuck it into trousers for the day, then keep it on into the evening.
